Use plastic bottles. You need something that can expand during fermentation. Glass bottles or jars are dangerous because they can shatter.
First, measure the brown sugar (1 part)
.
And then measure the fruit peels or vegetable waste (3 parts)
Put them into the bottles.
Add water (10 parts). You can also mix the sugar into the water before you pour into the bottle. Less messy.
And we will have some bottles of great enzymes in three months time. Label your bottles with the date you made them.
Remember to release the gas every day, a few times a day for the first few weeks. You don't want accidents. Just ask the 2 Hijau girls. Arlene had a free shower!
Ah, success. Good job everyone. :)
Show your mums and dads how to make more bottles at home. You eat fruits and vegetables every day, don't you? Save our landfills.
