Mgs-ians who are dedicated to save the environment

Merdeka!

The school-level Merdeka celebrations were held on the 30th of August in the school hall. It was a spectacular event that saw all students and staff come together to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of our independence. The girls of MGS truly embodied the meaning of One Nation and harmony between the races as they dolled themselves up to the nines in traditional outfits. What made it all the more special was the sight of girls in traditional outfits NOT of their respective races; like Indian girls donning the baju kebaya, or Chinese girls looking at home and gorgeous in Punjabi suits or sarees. It truly touched the hearts of all of us here at MGS when we see, hear and feel the spirit of togetherness that brought us all together to declare our love for our beloved nation.

The following are pictures of our girls in their traditional costumes! :)
